Is everything that you list in stock?

Yes. The website and our administration processes have been designed to ensure that everything that is listed with an add to cart button, is in stock.

How do I listen to your sound clips?

You can use our flash player by clicking on the F8 Player links on the site. This allows you to load a playlist of each individual record or click the Play All link to load a playlist for the whole page. It requires flash to be installed. If you do not have flash installed, most browsers will automatically ask you if you want to install the flash plugin. If your browser does not direct you to download the flash plugin you can get it here.

Alternatively, you can click on the headphone link next to each individual track. This will load the mp3 sample into you standard mp3 player. The player that is used will be determined by what you have installed and the player that you have told your browser to use.

Is VAT included?

We do not charge VAT at present. VAT is not included or charged.

Can I order by telephone or fax?

Sorry but no. All orders must be placed via the web site.

How do I know you have received my order?

We send an automatic e-mail confirmation for each order, stating the items ordered and the total cost. Our payment processing is handled by Paypal so you will also receive email confirmation of the transaction from them. You will also receive email confirmation from us.  If you pay using your paypal account then the transaction will appear in your account. If you need to contact us regarding the status of your order please email via our contact form

When I add an item to the cart, is it reserved?

Our cart provides a quote only. Items are not reserved until you have completed the checkout payment process. If you leave the site, items that you add to cart will still be there when you return. Anything that sells out before you return will be removed.

I'm a shop or distributor, do you have trade prices?

Yes, please get in touch via our contact form for a quote.

I have a problem using the web site, can you help?

Yes, however we need to have some details about the problem you are having. Please email us via our contact form with the following information:

  1. What were you trying to do on the site when you encountered the problem or error message?
  2. What is the URL / Address of the page, that you were on when you had the problem? (Copy the URL from your browser address bar, NB: please remove the 'http://' part of the address as our contact form will not allow it.)
  3. What error message did you get? (Copy the message)
  4. What browser are you using? (On your browser select > Help > About ….  Copy the version info eg: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.13) Gecko/20080311 Firefox/2.0.0.13
  5. What operating system are you using?  (Eg, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Mac OSx, On Windows find this by RIGHT clicking on My Computer > Properties)
  6. If trying to make a payment by credit or debit card, what type of card are you using?

Shipping


When will my order be shipped?

Orders placed Monday to Thursday will be dispatched next working day. Orders placed on Friday, Saturday or Sunday will also be shipped next working day I.e. The following Monday.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders take varying times to arrive depending on your location. We cannot guarantee delivery dates, as once dispatched, the shipping of orders is out of our control however you may use the following as a guide:

  • United Kingdom(First Class (Recorded)): 2-3 Days
  • United Kingdom(Special Delivery): 1-2 Days
  • Europe (EU): 3-8 days
  • Rest of the world: 6-12 days

How will my order be shipped?

For UK orders you have the choice of Royal Mail First Class (Recorded) or Royal Mail Next Day delivery. For larger orders we may use Parcel Force depending on the weight of the order. All UK shipping options require a signature on delivery and include insurance against loss or damage in transit

For International orders you have the choice of Royal Mail Airmail (insurance is not included) or Royal Mail Airmail Recorded (Recorded requires a signature on delivery and is insured against loss or damage in transit)

How much will I be charged for shipping?

Our shopping cart allows you to get a full quote for your order without needing to login or provide any personal information. All shipping options are available for you to check the total cost of shipping.

Can you guarantee delivery on or by a particular date?

Unfortunately not - we make all efforts to despatch orders within our published service level but once an order has left our premises the exact delivery date is beyond our control.

Do I have to pay any customs charges?

If you are ordering from within the EU (Except Andorra, Canary Islands, Gibraltar, San Marino, and Vatican city state), you will pay no customs charges. Most other countries allow small packages to be delivered without charge, but some do charge customs duty. Contact your national customs office regarding this. It is the customer, not the vendor that is always liable for any such charges. However, if you are liable for customs charges, it is possible to avoid by ensuring that the value of the package is less than the local tax threshold. Check before you order.

Why am I being charged extra on delivery?

Your country is charging an import tax on your merchandise. This value is based on the value of the imported goods. You have to pay this charge. As the charge is entirely up to your country's customs we cannot tell you the value beforehand. It is very important that you provide a current telephone number and valid email address for you to be contacted once your merchandise clears customs.

What if I receive a faulty item?

We will replace any faulty item subject to stock availability, free of charge. If an item is not in stock we will provide a full refund. You will need to return the faulty item to us before we can issue a replacement or refund. If you do receive a faulty item please email us via our contact us form. You must , contact us within 14 days of receipt of your order.

What if my order is damaged in transit?

For UK orders or International orders placed with *Recorded Delivery*: We will replace any item that is damaged in transit item subject to stock availability, free of charge. If an item is not in stock we will provide a full refund. You will need to return the faulty item to us before we can issue a replacement or refund. If you do receive a faulty item please email us via our contact us form. You must , contact us within 14 days of receipt of your order..

For international orders where *Recorded Delivery* has not been paid for, replacement or refund is not available for items damaged in transit.

What if my order is lost in the post?

For UK orders or International orders placed with Recorded Delivery: In the case of an order not arriving, we can issue a replacement package if items are still in stock. If an item is not in stock we will issue a refund. International orders placed without 'Recorded Relivery' are not insured against loss in transit.

In the case of UK orders, 10 days must elapse after the despatch date before we will consider the package to be missing; in the case of non-UK orders, one month must pass. After this time, please email us via our contact us form to report the missing order. Please note before we send a replacement package: You must contact your local postal delivery office to check that the item is not awaiting collection. (In the UK, details of your local delivery office can be obtained from Royal Mail Customer Services on 08457 740740.) Note: If we believe that goods have been stolen in transit we reserve the right to refuse to supply further orders.

What is your returns policy?

We operate a 7 day cooling off period where if you contact us within 7 days of receipt of the goods you may return them to us for a full refund on receipt. However, your return postage costs will not be refunded. We reserve the right to refuse to supply further orders where more than one order is returned on this basis.

After 7 days of receipt, goods are non-returnable unless there is a manufacturing defect, or the item is damaged during shipping. You have 14 days from receipt of your order to file any claims with us regarding defective, damaged, or items shipped in error. You must email us via our contact us form to report any issues. Returns made without prior authorization will be rejected. Defective items will be replaced, however, we reserve the right to reject replacement if we determine that the item is in fact in good condition. In the case of damaged merchandise we will reimburse your return shipping cost.

Is ordering Secure?

We use Paypal to process our payments. When you click 'checkout' on our site you are directed to Paypals secure payment page. All card and transaction details are processed by Paypals secure servers. On completion of your order you can click back to our site to review your order. You will be sent order confirmation by both us and paypal. When directed to the payment pages you can view the security certificate by clicking on the padlock icon at the bottom of your web browser.

How is my personal information used?

We consider the information you choose to share with us personal and confidential. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to others without your prior permission, with the exceptions of companies in the IIR Group, affiliates throughout the world, and any business partners and third party suppliers we engage to provide services which involve processing data on our behalf.

Does your site use cookies and how are they used?

We use cookies in our shopping cart so that the contents are remembered for later if you move away from the site and also to log your activity on the site. Most sites use cookies and you will need to have them enabled to use our site. If you go to Tools / Options on your browser you will find your cookie settings there.

Do you accept any methods of payment other than credit or debit cards?

No, we only accept card payments.

What other currencies do you accept?

All prices are quoted in UK £ Sterling. We do not accept payment in any other currency. However as you will be paying by credit card your transaction will be converted from the currency that you use into UK £ Sterling. You can use this currency converter to check the current exchange rate. This is not exact as your card company will use its own rate, however it is likely to be very similar. If in doubt please check with your card issuing company.

How do I opt out of receiving email form you?

If at any point you wish to opt-out of receiving communications from us via email you can select the opt out link shown at the bottom of all our update emails.
